Laptop Messenger Bags
|
A messenger laptop case is a bag that you can
sling over your arm or shoulder which is also perfect for holding a laptop. You will often find
that carrying a traditional, briefcase-style laptop case is not as easy as you would think,
especially when you need to carry a lot of other stuff at the same time.

It is very easy to run out of hands when you have an arm-ful of things to carry, and having to
carry a briefcase style laptop case with you everywhere is just not always practical. A messenger laptop case,
however, can fix this problem. A messenger laptop case is easier to use because it has a built in or clip on
shoulder strap that can eliminate the need for you to use any hands while carrying it.
If you are going to start shopping for a messenger laptop case, here
are some things to think about. First of all, how much padding do you want your laptop case to have?
A lot of padding will make the case bulkier, but will protect your laptop through a lot more. A
thinner messenger laptop case, on the other hand, will be lighter and easier to carry, but will not offer as much
protection.
In deciding how much padding and protection you want, you should probably look at where you plan
to take your laptop case. Are you going to be rock climbing or using the case to carry your laptop out in the
field?
If so, then you are going to need to buy one that has some exceptional padding and protective
features. If, on the other hand, you will just be using it to carry your laptop to and from work every day, then
you probably do not need quite as much padding.
Another thing to consider when buying a messenger laptop case is whether you need extra pockets
or not. Extra pockets can really come in handy on a messenger laptop case, especially when you have a set of things
that you usually take with you. If you play a lot of sports and usually use your messenger laptop bag to carry your
laptop to the gym, then you might need extra pockets for deodorant or body spray.
However, if you work in an office or go out on sales calls, you may find that you need pockets
for things like pens, business cards, a cell phone, a calculator, a calendar, and other things of that nature. What
you take with you is not as important as making sure that you have room to take what you need! The need to carry
extra things in your laptop messenger case may come in handy, even if you do not carry along extra stuff all the
time.
Also, what size do you need? A 17"
laptop case isn't particularly compatible with a netbook, one of the smaller-sized laptops on
the market. Conversely, a 17" laptop won't fit in a 13" laptop bag!
And finally, what kind of style are you looking for? Do you want something a bit artsy? Or, were
you hoping to get something that looked very traditional and professional? There are all kinds of messenger laptop
cases out there, so finding the one that fits you the best should not be too difficult.
